Dakhla Airport: Increase of more than 35% in air traffic by the end of September 2024

The number of passengers who transited through Dakhla airport recorded an increase of 35.94% during the first nine months of 2024, compared to the same period in 2023.
This airport platform welcomed some 228,932 passengers by the end of September 2024, against 168,411 travellers during the same period in 2023, according to statistics from the National Airports Office (ONDA) for the month of September 2024. For the month of September 2024 alone, this airport infrastructure recorded an increase of 39.81% in air traffic compared to the same period in 2023. Dakhla airport thus welcomed some 29,840 passengers during the month of September 2024, against 21,343 travellers in September 2023. Morocco’s airports recorded a new record of 24,274,324 passengers welcomed by the end of September 2024, an increase of 19.66% compared to the same period a year earlier.
