The city of Chefchaouen will host the 11th edition of the international symposium on historic cities of the Mediterranean from 16 to 17 April, under the theme "Small and medium-sized cities, including historic ones: potentials and responsibilities".

According to a statement from the organisers, this event, which will be held at the Mohammed VI Complex for Culture and Arts, constitutes an opportunity to debate several subjects in relation to historic cities and examine successful experiences of small and medium-sized cities, particularly historic ones, in addition to analysing the strategies to be implemented to develop economic and territorial strategies capable of strengthening the economic development of these cities.
