The Rotary Foundation celebrates the one hundred and tenth anniversary of its creation

The Rotary Morocco Foundation recently celebrated, in Agadir, the one hundred and tenth anniversary of its creation, on 23 February 1905 by a certain Paul Harris, who worked as a lawyer in Chicago.This date is celebrated under the name of World Peace and Understanding Day. And it was only in 1917 that the Rotary Foundation was created. The celebration ceremony of the event constituted an occasion to evaluate one hundred and ten years of action and labour that lead to the well-being of humanity. This global organisation today counts more than 1.2 million members and 34,000 clubs in more than 200 countries, who decide together, exchange ideas and take action.Looking at the record of the progress of this organisation, it was recalled that on the occasion of the celebration of its 30th anniversary, it undertook an initiative of great magnitude.
