Rescue of a French citizen stuck on the edge of an abandoned quarry near Agadir – Aujourd'hui 24

Civil protection personnel, supported by the Royal Gendarmerie, managed yesterday evening, Sunday, to rescue a citizen holding French nationality after he got stuck on top of a very steep rocky cliff in an abandoned quarry near Drarga, near Agadir.
The young man, in his thirties, is of Moroccan origin and holds French nationality, and had come to the region to spend his annual vacation with his family.
However, his passion for mountain climbing and exploring mountainous areas led him to explore the stunning scenery on the Anounfek heights overlooking Agadir, but he soon got stuck on top of the rocky cliff in the mentioned quarry, which prompted him to ask for help from the authorities.
