The High Commission for Water and Forests plans to regenerate 3,100 hectares of forest
The Regional Directorate of Water and Forests and the Fight against Desertification plans the regeneration of approximately 3,100 hectares of forest formations during the 2015-2017 period.The regeneration of approximately 3,100 hectares in the Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra region is part of the strategy of the High Commission for Water and Forests and the Fight against Desertification to preserve natural resources. This operation mainly concerns sites of biological and ecological interest identified by the Master Plan for Protected Areas as well as the creation of green belts.
