The proceedings of the Administrative Board, chaired by the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mohamed Saad Berrada, were also marked by the signing of performance contract addenda for 2025 between the supervising Ministry and the Regional Academy for Education and Training, as well as between the Academy, the Regional Centre for Education and Training Professions, and the provincial directorates, according to a statement from the Academy.
On this occasion, five partnership agreements were also signed between the Regional Academy and its various partners. The first, concluded with the Drâa-Tafilalet Regional Council, aims to upgrade the education and training system in the region through projects for the rehabilitation and construction of educational institutions. The second agreement, signed with the Regional Investment Centre, aims to develop an entrepreneurial spirit among learners and support them in designing and consolidating their personal projects. The third agreement, signed with the National Agency for the Development of Oasis Zones and Argan Trees, concerns improving schooling conditions, particularly in the areas of preschool education, school transport, and the rehabilitation of educational institutions.
The fourth agreement, signed with the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques in Errachidia, aims to enable students of the faculty, as well as students of the technician certificate and preparatory classes, to benefit from the scientific laboratories at the faculty and educational institutions, while the fifth agreement aims to provide educational support and promote excellence for the benefit of students in educational institutions in the region.
In a speech on the occasion, Mr. Berrada highlighted that the holding of the Administrative Boards of the Regional Academies is of particular importance as it constitutes a key stage in strengthening efforts aimed at accelerating the pace of educational reform, through the effective implementation of the 2022-2026 Roadmap projects, in harmony with the strategic orientations aimed at creating the desired transformation within classrooms.
The Minister praised the pivotal role of the women and men of education and training, and their continuous efforts to make the education sector reform projects a success, stressing the importance of joint work and effective involvement in upgrading the educational system for a quality public school for all.
For their part, the members of the Administrative Board welcomed the efforts made to upgrade the education system in the region, confirming their commitment to raising the quality of education and training in the region.
During this session, which was marked by the presentation of reports from the committees emerging from the Administrative Board, the Director of the Regional Academy, Moulay El Ati El Asfar, gave a presentation highlighting the interim results of the implementation of the 2022-2026 Roadmap, the draft regional action plan, the draft budget, and the draft regional plan for continuous training for the year 2025.
On the sidelines of the proceedings of the Administrative Board of the Regional Academy, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, accompanied by the Wali of the region, carried out inspection visits to a number of educational institutions in the Errachidia province.
