Settat – The National Initiative for Human Development, through its many interventions at the level of the Settat province, plays a major role in promoting women's empowerment and contributing to the improvement of their socio-economic conditions.
Thus, the National Initiative continues its commitment to meeting the challenge of women's economic integration, through an integrated approach that aims to strengthen training to improve employability, create value at the local level, and ensure the sustainability of projects covering various sectors and fields.
In this framework, a group of projects has been established, notably the Multidisciplinary Centre in the Mimouna district of Settat, to support women by providing training in different fields such as sewing, hairdressing, cooking, and other trades and services.
In a statement to the Maghreb Arabe Presse agency, the director of the Multidisciplinary Centre, Abdelhadi Boucheniata, confirmed that the centre, established by the National Initiative for Human Development, provides training in multiple specialisations, including modern sewing, hairdressing and beauty, cooking and pastry, for the benefit of girls who have dropped out of school and housewives.
Mr. Boucheniata added that the centre aims to provide various training to enable women to access the labour market, improve their economic conditions, and strengthen their contribution to the development dynamics in the province.
In similar statements, a number of beneficiaries praised the diversity and quality of the training provided by the centre, highlighting that these trainings will enable them to develop their skills with a view to accessing the labour market, which will allow them to improve their economic conditions.
On the other hand, the National Initiative for Human Development provides concrete support to women project holders, through funding and accompanying these projects via the Youth Platform, to strengthen the economic and social empowerment of women in the province.
In this context, the entrepreneur Ikram Benbachir, a project holder who benefited from the support and accompaniment of the National Initiative for Human Development, praised the commitment and continuous support of the National Initiative for the integration and empowerment of women on economic and social levels.
She highlighted in this context the support and accompaniment of the National Initiative for Human Development for her project from the idea stage to the stage of establishing the project and bringing it to reality, noting that the Initiative helped her establish a private centre in the field of support and communication, through the acquisition of equipment and materials, which enabled her to make her project a success and develop it.
