Settat: The INDH strengthens its commitment to the socio-economic empowerment of women

Settat – The National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) confirms its decisive role in improving the socio-economic conditions of women through a series of structural interventions in the Settat province.

Thus, the INDH continues its efforts to meet the challenge of women's economic integration by adopting an integrated approach aimed at strengthening training to improve employability, creating value at the local level, and ensuring the sustainability of projects covering various sectors.

In this context, several projects have been implemented, notably the Multidisciplinary Centre in the Mimouna district of Settat, which supports women by offering them training in various fields such as sewing, hairdressing, cooking, and other trades and services.

In a statement to MAP, the director of this centre, Abdelhadi Boucheniata, emphasised that this structure aims to equip women with practical skills to facilitate their entry into the labour market.

“Our goal is to contribute to the improvement of their economic conditions while strengthening their role in local development,” he explained.

Beneficiaries, for their part, expressed their satisfaction with the quality and diversity of the training provided, highlighting the positive impact of these programmes on the development of their skills, thus paving the way for better socio-economic integration.

Furthermore, the INDH provides concrete support to female project leaders by funding and accompanying these projects via the Youth Platform, in order to strengthen the economic and social empowerment of women in the province.

In this context, Ikram Benbachir, an entrepreneur benefiting from INDH support, praised the commitment and continuous accompaniment of the INDH for the integration and empowerment of women on economic and social levels.

She emphasised that the INDH accompanied her throughout her entrepreneurial journey, from the design phase to the realisation of her project.
