A recent meeting of the technical committee for the industrial acceleration zone project in the commune of Béni Yakhlef was chaired by the Governor of the Khouribga province in the presence of a large Chinese delegation and an important group of professional partners. On the agenda, a presentation of all the perspectives related to the project and the memorandum signed with the giant Chinese group "Zhejiang Holley Global Industry Development", and just after an exhaustive presentation of the most detailed modalities and developments of this major project, a field visit by all these national and Chinese professional stakeholders took place to better visualize and establish the possible spatial, technical, and also topographical feasibilities.
It should be remembered that within the framework of the importance given by Morocco to encourage and attract foreign investment, before reviewing the potential, assets, and structuring infrastructures, and like other regions of the Kingdom, the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region is taking all potential initiatives to hasten the pace of investment and entrepreneurship in the region.
Thus, a new industrial acceleration zone in the making in the Khouribga province is presented as an appropriate space according to the initial data from the Regional Council, particularly in the commune of Béni Yakhlef. A project that will be carried out on an area exceeding 300 hectares and will require an investment of 1.5 billion dirhams and which should eventually generate significant investments and create more than 15,000 jobs, or even 20,000 jobs.
A memorandum was signed last June on the occasion of the meeting of the Wali of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region and the Governor of the Khouribga province with a delegation from the Chinese group "Zhejiang Holley Global Industry Development Co., Ltd", a leader in the creation and management of industrial free zones and global supply chains.
During this meeting, the emphasis was placed on the measures to be taken to accelerate the realization of this investment project in the Khouribga province, which aims to house industrial companies specializing in the fields of automotive, electromechanics, household appliances, and other renewable energies. The project will also contribute to diversifying the region's economy and orienting its development towards promising industrial sectors and ecological valorization systems.
