Chtouka-Aït Baha: More than 60 exhibitors at the Provincial Handicraft Fair
The Provincial Handicraft Fair of Chtouka-Aït Baha opened on Tuesday evening in the city of Biougra, with the participation of more than 60 exhibitors.

Dedicated to promoting handicraft products, this event, which aims to introduce visitors to the latest artisanal works, serves as a showcase for promoting local products from the province's artisans and cooperatives and an opportunity to reinvigorate the local economic dynamic.

This event hosts stands showcasing various handicraft products, as well as local terroir products exhibited as part of efforts to support the social and solidarity economy sector.

The exhibited products include artisanal objects and creations that highlight the creativity and dexterity of the artisans, as well as the diversity and richness of the Moroccan cultural heritage.

In a statement to MAP, the president of the Souss-Massa Region Chamber of Handicrafts, Abdelhak Arkhaoui, indicated that this event is an ideal opportunity for exhibitors to market their products, as well as to exchange their experiences and expertise with artisans from various regions of the Kingdom.

This Fair aims to enhance the role of human capital at the local level and give local products their authentic traditional character, by expanding their marketing base, and thereby giving a boost to the local economy.

Organised by the Souss-Massa Region Chamber of Handicrafts, this Fair, which will continue until the 12th of the current month, is part of the efforts to develop and promote the handicraft sector by highlighting the know-how of local artisans.

It also comes in the wake of the implementation of the partnership agreement linking the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa region, the Souss-Massa Region Chamber of Handicrafts, and the Regional Directorate of Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy in Agadir.
