The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on a positive note on Tuesday, with its main index, the MASI, advancing by 0.3% to 17,911.79 points (pts).
The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.45% to 1,456.63 pts and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, gained 0.2% to 1,225.48 pts, reports the MAP.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, increased by 0.05% to 1,800.15 points.
Regarding individual stocks, Risma (+6.13% to 462 DH), Taqa Morocco (+4.52% to 2,200 DH), Bank of Africa (+4.48% to 210 DH), Afriquia Gaz (+3.14% to 4,564 DH) and TotalEnergies Marketing Maroc (+2.74% to 1,685 DH) recorded the strongest gains.
Conversely, the sharpest declines were recorded by Colorado (-3.91% to 61.5 DH), Crédit du Maroc (-2.93% to 1,126 DH), CIH (-2.7% to 428.1 DH), Disway (-2.4% to 774 DH) and Microdata (-2.34% to 830.1 DH).
The previous day, the MASI had closed with a gain of 1.35%.
