The session this Thursday at the Casablanca Stock Exchange ended on a slightly positive note. The MASI index gained 0.13%, reaching 17,591.12 points at the close.
The electricity sector pushed the market upwards with a marked increase of 5.58%, achieving the best sectoral performance of the day. Conversely, the "Engineering and Industrial Equipment" segment suffered the sharpest decline, falling by 3.8%.
Trading amounted to more than 524.99 million dirhams, entirely carried out on the central "Share" market. Transactions were dominated by Jet Contractors (114.02 MDH), Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca – TGCC (69.65 MDH) and Douja Promotion Groupe Addoha (48.35 MDH).
The overall market capitalisation exceeded 915.84 billion dirhams.
