The Casablanca Stock Exchange started the week on a positive note, with its main index, the MASI, rising on Monday by 0.37% to 16,307.71 points (pts).
The MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.43% to 1,324.12 pts, and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, advanced by 0.30% to 1,149.34 pts.
For its part, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, gained 0.35% to 1,709.59 pts. Regarding individual stocks, Maghreb Oxygène (+9.02% to 500 DH), Risma (+4.71% to 289 DH), Salafin (+4.59% to 570 DH), Cosumar (+4.37% to 213.95 DH), and Stokvis Nord Afrique (+3.33% to 18.6 DH) achieved the best performances.
Conversely, Minière Touissit (-2.67% to 1,820 DH), Disway (-2.21% to 682.6 DH), Cartier Saada (-2.07% to 34 DH), CIH (-2.07% to 450.5 DH), and CDM (-1.80% to 1,090 DH) recorded the sharpest declines.
On Friday, the MASI had closed with a 0.59% drop.
