"The first flight took off from Mohammed V Airport today at 16:20. This new air route is scheduled with three weekly flights on board Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with a capacity of 302 seats, including 26 in Business Class", indicates a RAM press release.
Flights will be scheduled departing from Casablanca every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 16:20 (local time) for an arrival the following day at Beijing International Airport at 11:55 (local time). Departures from Beijing will take place on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 13:55 (local time) for an arrival in Casablanca at 20:10 (local time).
The resumption of the first direct route connecting Morocco and China represents a major opportunity for the development of Moroccan tourism, as well as the strengthening of economic and commercial relations between the two countries.
"As a reminder, this new service is part of the Company's commitments within the framework of the Development Plan signed with the government in July 2023 and comes in addition to the new international services inaugurated recently, notably Toronto and Sao Paulo", concludes the press release.
