Anas Zniti has surprised the members of Raja Casablanca by asking the board of directors to leave the green team during this winter transfer window.
According to a responsible source cited by Hesport, Zniti has demanded that the Raja management settle his financial arrears, estimated at 4 million dirhams, as well as the termination of his contract with the club.
The same source indicated that the board of directors, chaired by Adil Hala, is deploying considerable efforts to convince the goalkeeper to reconsider his decision during this transfer period, given that he is the team captain and one of the essential pillars of the Raja formation.
Zniti had missed some Raja matches recently due to an injury sustained during the match against the South Africans of Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League. He made his return by defending the Eagles' cages during the last Clasico against the FAR, which ended in a draw (1-1) during the fifth day of the Champions League.
It should be noted that Anas Zniti has worn the Raja colors since 2015, after his transfer from the FAR. With Raja, he has won several titles at the national and continental levels.
