According to him, several factors explain this performance. "The resounding successes of the Atlas Lions on the international stage have offered Morocco unprecedented visibility and global reach. But that is not all. The concerted efforts of the authorities to strengthen air connectivity, modernise hotel infrastructure, and promote domestic tourism are beginning to bear fruit."
Mohamed Saouti also insisted on the importance of public-private partnerships to develop new reception capacities and improve the quality of services offered to visitors. He believes that these actions, coupled with an intelligent diversification of tourism offerings, will make it possible to reach the ambitious target of 26 million visitors by 2030, with expected revenues of 120 billion dirhams.
"Today, our challenge is clear: consolidate these achievements and continue to innovate to seduce all categories of travellers, whether they are national or foreign. Morocco has everything to succeed. We just need to stay the course," he concludes with optimism.
