The Oasis stadium in Casablanca, belonging to Raja Casablanca, will benefit from major renovations as part of Morocco’s preparations to host the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025.
According to a source cited by Hesport, the Oasis stadium will not be demolished. Instead, it will undergo a complete rehabilitation, as it is included in the programme of sports facilities that will be used for the training of certain teams participating in the competition.
The work will include the renovation of the pitch, the stands, the changing rooms, and the facade. The Benjelloun complex, property of Wydad Casablanca, as well as other infrastructure, will also benefit from similar redevelopments.
The source specified that the duration of the work will exceed four months, so that the Raja team can benefit in the future from a stadium meeting professional standards and adapted to the training of its various age categories.
As a reminder, the next Africa Cup of Nations will be held in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026. The Kingdom is also preparing to host other major football competitions.
