For its part, the "MASI.20" index, which reflects the performance of 20 companies listed on the stock exchange, recorded a gain of 0.12% to 1,306.56 points, while the MASI.ESG, the index of companies with the best ESG rating, recorded a decline of -0.01% to settle at 1,122.48 points.
Meanwhile, the "MASI Mid and Small Cap," the performance index for small and medium-sized companies listed on the stock exchange, advanced by 0.51% to settle at 1,671.45 points.
The "MASI" index had ended trading yesterday, Thursday, with a gain of 0.01%.
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began its trading today, Friday, in the green, with its main index "MASI" recording a growth of 0.14% to settle at 16,103.28 points.
