Police officers in the Anfa security district of Casablanca arrested two road users yesterday evening, suspected of involvement in dangerous and exhibitionist driving, under conditions that threaten the safety of people and property.
A security source stated that the police services in Casablanca had reacted with great speed and seriousness to a video clip documenting road users committing dangerous exhibitionist driving, leading to immediate field interventions that enabled the arrest of two drivers and the seizure of their vehicles.
He added that the process of checking the suspects in the national security database revealed that one of them was the subject of a national search warrant for his suspected involvement in financial and economic crimes.
The two seized cars were transferred to the municipal impound lot, and the suspects were subjected to a judicial investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, to uncover all the circumstances and details of this case, while investigations and inquiries are still ongoing to arrest the remaining participants and contributors to these criminal acts.
