A short visit and then away. According to information from Foot Mercato, Mbaye Niang is preparing to leave Wydad Casablanca, just four months after his arrival.
M'Baye Niang will not have stayed long at Wydad Casablanca. After playing 8 matches and scoring 2 goals, the 30-year-old player is already looking for a new sporting project.
The former AC Milan player is expected to terminate his contract with the Moroccan club in the coming hours, reports Foot Mercato. M'Baye had joined the WAC last September, for one season with an option to extend.
Last season, Niang played for the Italian club Empoli, after having already played for several European teams, notably in France with Auxerre, Bordeaux and Rennes, as well as in Italy with AC Milan and Torino. He also had an experience in Turkey with Adana Demirspor.
During the last season in Serie A with Empoli, Niang played 14 matches, scoring six goals and providing one assist.
