With the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and naval cooperation between India and Morocco, the Indian warship INS Tushil arrived in Casablanca yesterday, Friday, December 27.

Over the past 12 months, three Indian Navy ships – Tabar, Tarkash, and Sumedha – have visited Casablanca, thereby strengthening mutual trust and cooperation between the two countries.
This two-day visit of the INS Tushil to Casablanca is very important. During this time, the crew members of the Tushil will interact at a functional level with Royal Navy personnel and pay tribute to senior officials and guests.
Its objective is to strengthen naval cooperation, diplomatic relations, and promote friendship between the two navies.
Following the visit, the navies of both countries will conduct a passing exercise (PASSEX) at sea, which will contribute to cooperation and the sharing of best practices.
