HM King Mohammed VI receives the President of Mauritania in Casablanca

"His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, received today at the Royal Palace in Casablanca, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
This meeting is part of the solid relations of trust and cooperation linking the two countries and the ties of sincere fraternity uniting the two brotherly peoples.
During this meeting, the two Heads of State welcomed the positive development of the Moroccan-Mauritanian partnership in all fields.
They also affirmed their determination to develop strategic projects for the connection between the two neighboring countries, and to coordinate their contributions within the framework of the Royal Initiatives in Africa, particularly the African-Atlantic gas pipeline and the Initiative aimed at promoting access of Sahel states to the Atlantic Ocean.
