Hafid Abdel Sadeq expressed his satisfaction after the convincing victory of Raja Casablanca (3-0) against Chabab Mohammédia during the 15th day of the professional championship. The interim coach reflected on the responsibility of leading the team after the departure of Sá Pinto.
"We obtained three important points today. We entered the field determined to win, aware of the strength of the opponent who has improved recently. Fortunately, our start to the match was successful," he declared in the post-match conference, before adding:
"The first goal freed us from pressure. Despite the absences we are facing, we managed to handle the match well, and the changes made bore fruit."
Abdel Sadeq also shared the circumstances that led him to accept this temporary role, stating that he wanted to do justice to a club that gave him everything.
"Some officials and influential figures at Raja encouraged me to take on this challenge. If someone else had been in my place, they might have hesitated to come in this situation. But as a child of the club, I wanted to give back to this team that gave me so much," he emphasises, reflecting on the pressure surrounding his taking the position.
"After the separation with coach Ricardo Sá Pinto, I took the reins in a difficult context where the team's performance was not satisfactory. I pray for the success of this mission and hope that the supporters will support us in this critical phase."
With this victory, Raja Casablanca climbs to 4th place with 23 points, while Chabab Mohammédia remains at the bottom of the standings with only 3 points.
