The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened higher on Thursday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.47% to 14,680.57 points (pts).
The MASI.20, which tracks the 20 most liquid stocks, advanced by 0.55% to 1,186.05 pts, and the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG ratings published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, gained 0.34% to 1,036.7 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index measuring the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, rose by 0.97% to 1,494.5 pts.
Regarding individual stocks, CTM (+6% to 795 DH), Maghreb Oxygène (+3.18% to 257.9 DH), CFG Bank (+3.14% to 219.8 DH), Mutandis (+3.03% to 303.95 DH), and M2M Group (+3% to 550 DH) were the top performers.
Conversely, the sharpest declines were recorded by Stroc Industrie (-7.83% to 41.29 DH), HPS (-1.71% to 556.1 DH), Immorente Invest (-1.62% to 90.5 DH), AtlantaSanad (-1.54% to 128 DH), and Involys (-0.89% to 98.97 DH).
The previous day, the MASI had closed with a loss of 0.16%.
