
The Casablanca Stock Exchange started the week on a positive note, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.16% to 14,786.34 points (pts).
The MASI.20, grouping the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.16% to 1,202.06 pts, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG rating published by Moody's ESG Solutions, fell by 0.11% to 1,048.61 pts.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index measuring the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, increased by 0.47% to 1,472.23 pts.
Regarding individual stocks, Taqa Morocco (+3.5% to 1,359 DH), Société des Boissons du Maroc (+3.26% to 2,346 DH), Résidences Dar Saada (+1.72% to 73.95 DH), Addoha (+1.49% to 39.58 DH), and Aradei Capital (+1.34% to 490 DH) achieved the best performances. Conversely, the sharpest declines were recorded by Sanlam Maroc (-7.88% to 1,741 DH), AtlantaSanad (-2.58% to 128.3 DH), Disway (-2.14% to 635.1 DH), LafargeHolcim (-1.97% to 1,944 DH), and Cartier Saada (-1.57% to 32.68 DH).
On Friday, the MASI had closed with a loss of 0.8%.
