The organisers of the exhibition highlighted, during a press conference held on Tuesday in Casablanca to shed light on this year's edition, that this event, organised by the African E-Markets Expo Association under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is an unmissable event for all e-commerce actors in Morocco and Africa.
This edition, organised in partnership with the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, Technopark Maroc, the National Federation of Transport and Logistics, the National Federation of the Digital Economy in Morocco, and the Moroccan Association of Digital Transport and Logistics Companies, represents a unique opportunity for professionals in the digital and e-commerce sectors from all over the world to meet and learn about the latest trends.
According to the organisers, the exhibition is also a special opportunity for young entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and companies to transition from traditional sales methods to e-commerce, a sector that has gained great importance in recent years and contributes significantly to the development of the national economy.
The organisers expect this year's edition to welcome more than one hundred exhibitors representing various key sectors of e-commerce, such as delivery and logistics services, e-commerce platforms, communication and advertising, printing and packaging, photography and digital marketing, banks, and others.
The programme includes 15 thematic discussion sessions presented by expert specialists to explore the strategic challenges and latest trends in the sector, in addition to 63 workshops offering analyses on the challenges and opportunities of e-commerce to meet the needs of visitors according to three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
On this occasion, Issam El Friati, director of the exhibition, indicated that this edition comes after two sessions held in the city of Agadir, with the exhibition now arriving in Casablanca to create a meeting place for young entrepreneurs and companies to transition from standard sales operations to electronic ones, with the aim of contributing to the national economy.
He added that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity for professionals in the digital and electronic commerce sectors to learn about the most important developments related to this field and to identify the most important advancements that could enhance e-commerce services.
He continued that the exhibition would highlight the various advantages of e-commerce, such as creating job opportunities in many activities, especially those related to communication, technology, and logistics, with the aim of contributing to increasing the turnover of companies.
For his part, Nabil Hormtallah, Vice-President of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, indicated that the latter is working to support the organisers of the African E-Markets Expo for the success of this edition and the achievement of all its goals.
He added that the exhibition works to provide many digital solutions for the benefit of medium, small, and very small companies, especially in the field of e-commerce, to help them increase their turnover and develop their commercial activity, which will reflect positively on the national economy.
