On the occasion of the start of the school year, the governor of Ifrane, accompanied by the provincial delegate of the Ministry of National Education and several other civil and military figures, presided over the ceremony for the distribution of full school bags and school programmes to needy pupils as part of the "One Million School Bags" operation. These supplies are intended for the Ain Lahnouch school sector in the rural commune of Tizguite (Pachalik of Ifrane) and the Mohammed V middle school in Azrou.

On the same occasion, the governor visited the construction site of the Al Amal middle school in Ain Lahnouch, which is scheduled to open next November. The pupils of this new establishment are temporarily occupying two classrooms at the Ain Lahnouch primary school.

The provincial official also visited the construction site of the new Michlifen qualifying high school under construction in Azrou.

It should be recalled that the city of Azrou will soon be equipped with a new middle school, that of Driss 1st, which currently occupies premises of the historic Tarik Bnou Ziad qualifying high school, and a new middle school in Dayat Aoua.
