The Tit Mellil Socio-cultural Centre, inaugurated on Wednesday by H.M. King Mohammed VI, will contribute to expanding the cultural offer in this city and will meet the aspirations of the population, stated the Minister of Culture, Mohamed Amine Sbihi. Likewise, this local cultural centre will allow young people and artists to have an adequate space to house their creativity and hone their talents, the minister stressed in a statement to the press.
This initiative reflects the High Solicitude that H.M. the King shows towards young people, which consists of providing them, wherever they are, with local socio-cultural and sporting spaces, Mr. Sbihi emphasised. He noted that this space is the result of a partnership between the city of Tit Mellil, the regional and provincial councils, and the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).
The Tit Mellil Socio-cultural Centre includes painting and music workshops, a library, a reading room, a multimedia space, a gymnasium, a 330-seat performance hall capable of hosting various cultural, educational, and artistic activities, as well as an exhibition hall.
