The urban commune of Tétouan held a meeting last Wednesday as part of the preparations for the ordinary general assembly of the Anmar Federation of local authorities of northern Morocco and Andalusia, scheduled for next January.
According to a statement from the Federation, this meeting is of great importance given the expected objectives of the next Assembly of the said Federation, relating in particular to the renewal of the board, taking into account the recent electoral deadlines that took place in Morocco and Andalusia, and with a view to adopting a strategic plan for the Federation. The Federation's officials thus called for the realisation of projects that will benefit the elected bodies that are members of the Federation, to promote communication between the members of this body, to strengthen the skills of elected officials, and to implement exemplary programmes aimed at supporting the socio-economic development that the Northern region is experiencing.
