Located in the city center, next to the Place de Faro and the Rue de la Liberté, in the Place de France, the Grand Café de Paris has all the elements that have made it one of the most popular cafés in Tangier today by locals and by intellectuals. Since its inauguration at the beginning of the 20th century, it has been the meeting point of several renowned figures of universal art, such as Juan Goytisolo, Ian Fleming, Mohamed Choukri, Larbi Yacoubi or Paul Bowles.
