It has become a beautiful tradition in Tangier. The second Bride Festival will take place from 3 to 6 April, according to pure Moroccan traditions. Following the previous year's example and as planned, the activities of this festival will take place just three months before the summer period, coinciding with the fever of preparations for wedding celebrations. The organisers aim, again this year, and after the great success of the first edition (more than 10,000 visitors), to attract a large number of visitors. Dedicated to future brides, "this festival will be very rich in cultural and artistic activities, allowing us to attract many more visitors than the previous edition," says Ibtissam Sebbahi, artistic director of this second festival. Initiated by the "Holmona" association for culture and development, this festival aims to introduce and prepare future brides and grooms for their life as a couple, while contributing to the tourism promotion of Tangier. "The Holmona association seeks through this type of activity to ensure maximum information and services through training workshops and personal development advice. This is with the aim of making wedding celebrations more accessible to young couples before and during their union," according to the organising committee. The organisers are planning several activities during these four days, including three seminars related to the theme of this edition. And like the previous year, the programme for this festival includes exhibitions and fashion shows, which will see the participation of several professionals operating in the sectors of wedding organisation, costumes and caftans, and beauty treatments for the bride. The programming for this edition is also distinguished by the holding of a bride's carnival, which will showcase the traditions of the Moroccan wedding. "We are keeping the same objective as last year of highlighting our traditions related to the celebration of wedding parties, while inviting the sectors that invest in them to discover modern means of development, particularly through their training in communication and marketing in order to help them better promote their expertise," emphasises Ms Sebbahi.
