The Supreme Council of Oulema is organising, next Thursday in Rabat, a scientific conference on the theme "Salafism: definition of the concept and knowledge of the content", with the High approval of H.M. King Mohammed VI, Amir Al-Mouminine, President of the Supreme Council of Oulema.
This meeting will see the participation of an elite of specialised Oulema who will focus on the examination of this theme under all its aspects, indicates a press release from the Council on Tuesday.
Oulema from the various prefectures, provinces and regions of the Kingdom will also attend this cultural event.
According to the press release, the work of this meeting will be divided into two sessions, the first will focus on "The Salafism of the Ummah, the Salafism of the category and the Moroccan model", "The doctrine of the predecessors (Salaf) and the Salafism of certain successors", "The Ash'ari rite: the rite of the Salaf, foundation and extension", "Salafism and the Supreme Imamate", "Salafism and Sunni Sufism".
The work of the second session will revolve around themes relating to "Salafism and doctrine", "Salafism between the text and the objectives", "Contemporary Salafist trends: origins and practice", "The Moroccan Salafist school: specificities of the past and present", "Modern Salafism and problems of Sufism" and "Salafism and issues of security and stability".
