The beautiful village of the south-east will thus be enchanted by the performance of this group, composed of young people handling various modern and traditional instruments. The rhythms and scores of this authentic ensemble draw from the ancestral musical heritage and give the Moroccan song in general, and Amazigh in particular, a new creative impetus.
The songs notably aim to transmit to the international stage an original heritage, aspiring to modernity. With years of experience, participation in numerous festivals, and albums addressing various themes, the Amayno group is in full maturity, which promises more hits and a well-deserved consecration. The first day of this event, which takes place in the middle of the desert, will see the Tiznit Ahwach troupe take the stage with its undulations and swaying, as well as Hassani singing, through Ittihad Sghyer of Goulmim.
Organised under the theme "Local products and Moroccan handicrafts", this cultural and festive event brings, for three days, a breath of freshness and gaiety, but also an opportunity to highlight the city, the Draâ region, and their strong natural, human, cultural, and tourist potential. One of the main objectives of the festival: to bring this traditional and popular culture to the international stage, as a witness and living expression of the tangible and intangible heritage of the nomads, a legacy of their ancestors. A wealth that it is imperative to safeguard, transmit to future generations, and promote.
To better highlight this heritage, the festival intends, through a large exhibition, to offer a space to different producers to exhibit their local products, with the objective of seeking more outlets. A way for the festival to contribute to enhancing them and allowing them to acquire a brand image worthy of their quality. The objective of the festival being the safeguarding of know-how and trades in the process of disappearing. Besides singing and music, the programme includes other activities and comprises conferences, debates, various workshops (taste workshops, fair trade, etc.), preparation of "Mella" sand bread, sports with nomad hockey, and the traditional dromedary race…
Scientists and meteorite enthusiasts will also have the possibility to debate in the presence of nomads and connoisseurs of this national heritage.
Supported by the province of Zagora, the ADS, the Maison de l'Artisan, the ANDZOA, the ONMT, the CDG Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, Al Omrane, the SMD Region, this event with cultural, socioeconomic, and tourist characteristics… can also be the starting point for superb cultural excursions, such as the "7 Kasbahs", the site of "Foum Tidri", one of the largest necropolises with "tumuli" known not only in Morocco but in the entire Maghreb, or excursions in the desert by 4x4 or on dromedary back and nights in a bivouac...
