"Abstract Landscapes" is the theme of an exhibition by artist Yasmina Ziyat organised until 1 December at the Rê gallery in Marrakech. In her works, Yasmina Ziyat uses small natural stones and pieces of charcoal, small translucent and coloured elements that resemble small oval or circular membranes, which are held in suspension and remind us of comets in space. Her works are constructed inside a frame and the objects chosen by the artist are placed on fragments of blue, white or black canvases and torn papers, which are supported by cotton, nylon or silk threads and even by iron wires and sometimes by electrical wires.
