The Ifrane Miss Snow Festival will be held from 27 February to 1 March. "The protection of nature, the basis of sustainable tourism" is the theme chosen for this third edition. Organised by the "Tourtite" association in collaboration with the province of Ifrane, the Provincial Council, and civil society actors, the event will be punctuated by a panoply of cultural, artistic, and sporting activities, in addition to a cleanliness campaign, since the city of Ifrane was ranked, last year, the second cleanest city at the global level. An exhibition of local and artisanal products will also be organised by the cooperatives of the region, as well as educational entertainment spaces for the benefit of young children. Likewise, a foot race over a distance of 15 km, in which some 200 athletes will participate, is planned on the natural circuit connecting the city of Ifrane to Tizguite. In parallel, with the aim of encouraging the breeding and maintenance of Barb and Arab-Barb horses, a tour of riders will be organised over a distance of 15 km on the outskirts of the Tizguite river, in the heart of the Vittel Source forest, with the aim of encouraging mountain tourism.
The Festival will also be marked by a hunting competition at the initiative of the Ifrane Hunters' Association. The event will also see the organisation of a carnival with the participation of 800 people from cultural, artistic, and sporting associations, as well as local folk troupes, in addition to the famous parade of the various provincial administrations which announces the end of the festivities. Finally, an artistic evening is planned as a closing, during which the Miss Snow Prize and prizes for the winners of the sporting competitions will be awarded.
