A budget of 200 million dirhams will be invested in the execution of this new vision which is articulated around 6 priority axes.
Al Akhawayn University organized on June 13 the 18th edition of its annual graduation ceremony. An event also marked by the presentation of the balance sheet of the achievements of the institution which has just completed its 20 years of existence and its 2015-2020 vision.
Thus, the "Board of Trustees" indicated that the objectives set by the 2010-2014 plan were achieved at 86%. The time is therefore for the implementation of the new strategy, which itself, "aims to strengthen the position of the institution as a Moroccan leader in higher education recognized for the excellence of its academic programs, its role in the promotion of innovative research as well as the competence and social responsibility of its graduates," it is emphasized in a press release.
Six priority axes compose this new vision, whose budget invested in its execution amounts to 200 million dirhams. These are: student learning, their development and success; quality improvement; internationalization; promotion of growth and sustainability; research and innovation; as well as the promotion of communication.
The press release also announces that the university aims, by 2020, to be in the top 10 universities in Africa.
