In a speech for the occasion, he stressed that the employability rate of Al Akhawayn graduates remains "satisfactory," noting the rapid insertion of most of them into the world of work, while the others continue their studies in prestigious universities of international renown. He also reviewed the main lines of the University's strategic plan (2009-2014) aimed primarily at accelerating the pace of curriculum improvement and setting the institution's priorities focused, among other things, on strengthening the North American educational system, adopting quality assurance and accreditation, and innovation in education.
