H.M. the King inaugurates and launches important projects for economic and social development
The Royal Initiative for the development of the Oriental has been consolidated by new achievements with the inauguration and launch, under the impetus of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, Saturday in the Jerada province, of several structuring projects intended both to strengthen the competitiveness of the province's economy and to improve the living conditions of citizens.
The Sovereign thus proceeded to the launch of the liquid sanitation project for the center of Guenfouda (Jerada province), to the commissioning of the first tranche of the economic activity zone of Jerada, and to the inauguration of a multi-purpose social center in the commune of Ain Bni Mathar. With a cost of 17 million dirhams, this project will be carried out within a period of 12 months and will involve the construction of a septic tank-type treatment plant with a capacity of 252 m3, the installation of a wastewater pumping station, the laying of 12 km of pipeline, and the construction of three storm overflows. This project will allow the treatment of 84 m3/day of wastewater by 2030, as well as a reduction in the organic pollutant load to 80%.
