HRH Princess Lalla Salma presides over the opening of the 19th Fez Festival of World Sacred Music
HRH Princess Lalla Salma presided, on Friday evening, over the opening ceremony of the 19th Fès Festival of World Sacred Music, organised under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, around the theme "Fès the Andalusian".
Upon her arrival at the historic Bab Al Makina square, the venue for the ceremony, HRH Princess Lalla Salma reviewed a detachment of the Auxiliary Forces that rendered honours, before being greeted by the Minister of the Interior, Mohand Laenser, and the Minister of Culture, Mohamed Amine Sbihi. HRH Princess Lalla Salma was then greeted by the Wali of the Fès-Boulemane region, Mohamed Dardouri, the President of the "Esprit de Fès" Foundation, the President of the Council of the Fès-Boulemane region, the commander of the garrison, the president of the prefectural assembly, the president of the Méchouar Fès-Jdid commune, the Director General of the "Esprit de Fès" Foundation, as well as by the members of the organising committee of this 19th edition of the Festival.
