On the occasion of the 10th birthday of Prince Moulay Hassan, the Zaouia El Khadra Association for Education and Culture organised a circumcision operation on Wednesday, 8 May in Fes for 350 children who are boarders at Quranic schools and others from modest families.

“Circumcision is an important milestone in the life of a young Muslim boy; it is a customary and religious obligation that also requires resources nowadays. Helping underprivileged families to perform this ritual is a duty.”

This occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on the educational and religious mission that the association carries out successfully thanks to the dedication of its members, as well as the support of its benefactors.

Since its creation in 1985, the Zaouia El Khadra Association for Education and Culture has set itself the missions of building and developing pre-school education, providing free pre-school education for the destitute and needy, and integrating underprivileged children into the school system. It also fights for the educational, intellectual and social development of the Kingdom's youth by participating in the construction of reception infrastructure and improving the living conditions of their parents and families.

The Zaouia El Khadra Association

The Zaouia El Khadra Association for Education and Culture was created in 1985 to boost the role of Quranic schools. Its main focus is social development, notably through the rehabilitation and restoration of Quranic schools, as well as supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The association is also involved in numerous charitable actions for the benefit of underprivileged populations. It has branches in the regions of Fes, Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Laayoune, M'diq, Oued Laou and Marrakech.
