A convention for the construction of an annex with a view to the extension of the Louis Massignon school group of Casablanca in the green city of Bouskoura (Nouaceur province) was signed on Friday in Casablanca. The agreement consists of making, free of charge, a six-hectare plot of land available to the International University School Office (OSUI), an operator of French cooperation in Morocco within the framework of the partnership agreement for cultural cooperation and development between the two countries, for the realisation of this extension. The office will have to build in this green city of 50,000 inhabitants a building allowing the implementation of cooperation activities with an educational, cultural, and school vocation, according to the terms of the convention for a duration of thirty years, renewable. This convention was signed by the wali of the Greater Casablanca region, Mohamed Boussaid, and the DG of the OSUI, Jean-Christophe Deberre, in the presence of the governor of the Nouaceur province, Lahbil El Khatib, the president of the city council, Mohamed Sajid, and several other personalities. This extension should favour the regrouping of Casablanca's schools falling under the French mission, particularly in the city centre, which will contribute to decongesting traffic a little in this part of the metropolis, stressed Mr. Boussaid on this occasion.
