The conflict between the President of the Souss Region and Governor Amzazi hinders the rehabilitation of the Ourir commune - Al Ousboue Assahafi

Many community actors in the Ourir commune, under the Agadir prefecture, are wondering about the reason for the delay in the partnership agreement to finance the urban rehabilitation programme for this small town located north of the capital of the Souss-Massa region.
Local activists were surprised by the freezing of the agreement which was approved on 4 March 2024 between the Wilaya of the Souss region, under the supervision of Governor Said Amzazi, and the President of the Regional Council, Karim Achengli, with a financial cost of 64 million dirhams. The clauses of the project related to the rehabilitation of Ourir have not been activated by the President of the Region, which has made things ambiguous and raised many questions.
