Aourir is a Moroccan rural commune with an urban centre of the same name, located in the south of the country, in the Souss-Massa-Drâa region, 12 km from Agadir, 8 km from Taghazout, and 50 km from Imouzzer des Ida-Outanane.

The small town of Aourir is also referred to as the village of banana trees or Banana-Village, due to the abundance of banana trees. Aourir is also known for its tagine restaurants and its surf spots, including Pointe Banana-Beach, one of the most beautiful surf spots north of Agadir.
