The second stage of the Federal Cross-Country race in the territory of the Ahl Oued Za commune in Taourirt

Celebrating the 49th anniversary of the Green March and the 69th anniversary of the glorious Independence Day, the Governor of the Taourirt province, accompanied by communal and territorial officials and heads of services, oversaw on Sunday, December 08, 2024, the launch of the competitions for the second stage of the Federal Cross-Country race "Youth 05 km – Girls / 05 km - Juniors / 08 km and Seniors 10 km Seniors / 10 km" at the track located near the Rest Square in the territorial commune of Ahl Oued Za in the Taourirt province, organized by the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation, and in coordination with the Eastern Athletics League, with the participation of more than 1600 runners belonging to 100 clubs and sports associations.

The second stage of the Federal Cross-Country race, organized by the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation in coordination with the Eastern Athletics League in the territorial commune of Ahl Oued Za, about 6 kilometres away, saw the breaking of new records and the emergence of promising talents in this sporting field. It also produced a set of positive data, primarily the public attendance that encouraged and supported the champions and promising talents, and the distinguished brilliance of champions in the prime of their youth...

The race saw Mohamed El Rawi from Olympic Ibn Guerir, as well as the victory of the runner Hasnaa Seddiq from Olympic Zenata Athletics, and the victory of the runner Chaimae Zehiri from Sarii Oued Zem followed by Atiqa Boukrim from Tamda Azilal and Saida Habib from the club (aceka), and the victory of the runner Houssam Bouzid from the Royal Army followed by Mohcine Outalha from Atlas Oulmes and Badr El Ajlaoui from the club (aara), and the victory of the runner Kawtar Lahrach from the Royal Army and Fatima Aafir from Widad Tiflet and Aicha Labaa from the Royal Army.

The sporting event was distinguished by the distribution of symbolic prizes to the winners of the first three places in each category, by the Governor of the province, and a number of sports figures and athletics champions, as well as elected officials and representatives of local and security authorities and the National Athletics Federation and other figures.

The sporting event left great satisfaction among the participants and observers.
