The delegation of the Ministry of Health in the province of Béni Mellal organised last Saturday a multidisciplinary medical caravan for the benefit of 2,200 people in the locality of Taadlonte (Aghbala health district), the objective being to help the inhabitants of this region and to prevent the harmful risks linked to the cold wave.
This action comes in application of the High instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI regarding the establishment of a permanent aid and prevention system against the harmful risks linked to the cold wave for the benefit of at-risk populations in mountainous and isolated localities, and in the framework of the Ministry of Health's emergency response plan intended for the fight against the effects of the drop in temperature and the integrated rural health programme, and in coordination with the regional health directorate of Tadla-Azilal, indicates a press release from the Ministry of Health on Monday.
This caravan saw the participation of health professionals belonging to the medical and paramedical corps through mobile units composed of four general practitioners, a gynaecologist, and a paediatrician, as well as six polyvalent nurses and two midwives in addition to two hygiene technicians, specifies the same source.
