The Foundation clarified in a statement that this operation, undertaken "in adherence to the noble strategy set by His Majesty the King, may God support him, for the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners, which aims to consolidate the Kingdom's values in promoting a culture of solidarity, mutual support, and fraternal living, which can only be achieved by enhancing the dignity of every Moroccan citizen," regardless of their status, gender, or location.
The statement indicated that this operation, for which a budget of 1,236,895.49 Moroccan Dirhams was allocated, benefited 35 individuals.
The same source added that this purely humanitarian operation was carried out "to activate the economic reintegration axis by the Foundation, targeting vulnerable categories of released prisoners within the framework of supporting the National Initiative for Human Development, and implementing the partnership agreement concluded in this regard between the Foundation and the Regional Committee of the National Initiative for Human Development for the Prefectures of Sidi Bernoussi, dedicated to the aforementioned category to facilitate their integration into the economic fabric."
The statement noted that the micro-enterprise support programme for the mentioned group, based on the individual life project, goes through a diagnosis phase, followed by rehabilitation when necessary with specialists in the field, and concludes with follow-up provided by the accompaniment and reintegration centres in partnership with local authorities and relevant institutional stakeholders, in accordance with the nature of the beneficiaries' training and experience, as well as the needs of the labour market and the socio-economic context of the beneficiary's place of residence.
In addition to the General Coordinator of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners, representatives of the judicial, administrative, and security authorities within the territorial jurisdiction of the Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi Prefectures, as well as civilian figures and representatives of the Foundation's partner sectors in aftercare, attended this operation.
