Shocking figures on the worsening divorce rate in Tetouan and the head of the Adoul postpones the reasons to the economic recession (video) – Al Yaoum 24

Mohamed Ettaghi, head of the Regional Council of Adoul at the Tetouan Court of Appeal, confirmed that the latter records the highest divorce rate alongside the Casablanca Court of Appeal.
Ettaghi revealed in a statement to the "Al Yaoum 24" website that Tetouan witnessed about 2,500 cases of divorce by discord during the past year, while divorce by mutual consent exceeded 1,200 cases.
The speaker attributed the reasons for the rise in divorce cases in Tetouan to the difficult economic situation, saying that the region used to experience prosperity, and when the recession occurred, the divorce rate rose.
The head of the Regional Council of Adoul at the Tetouan Court of Appeal appealed to officials to work on reviving the city's economy and providing job opportunities to put an end to this social dilemma.
