Organised by the Al Mohamadia Association of Plastic Arts, this event is intended to be an opportunity for exchanges of experiences and creative ideas in the field of plastic arts between participants from different regions of the Kingdom.
It is also about producing collective works reflecting the diversity of cultures and the richness of different artistic aspects.
In a statement to MAP, the president of the Al Mohamadia Association of Plastic Arts, Mostapha Zaki, emphasised that this three-day event represents an annual meeting for local artists, allowing them to showcase their skills and creativity.
It is also a cultural meeting aimed at strengthening communication links between artists at the national and international levels, and at enriching the debate around various issues related to plastic arts, he noted.
The opening ceremony of this event, which took place in the presence of, among others, the governor of the province of Taroudant, Mabrouk Tabet, was marked by a heartfelt tribute paid to several artistic figures in recognition of their valuable contributions to the influence and promotion of plastic arts at the national level.
The programme for this event includes a collective exhibition of paintings comprising 35 works and representing various artistic schools, in addition to the awarding of prizes to the winners of the "Children and Colours" competition.
This edition is organised in partnership with the Provincial Committee for Human Development, with the support of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (Department of Culture), the Provincial Council, the Commune of Taroudant, the Provincial Tourism Council, and the Souss-Massa Regional Council.
