Skhirat (in Arabic: الصخيرات) is a seaside town in Morocco located between the capital Rabat, the administrative capital, and Casablanca, the economic capital.

The town centre, which is rather poor and rural, is separated from the very upmarket seaside area by the motorway linking Rabat to Casablanca. The seaside area has long been favoured by the national jet set and especially those close to the palace. As the preferred beach of the Royal family, one often sees princes and princesses and their entourage there.

During the Hassan II era, one could also see parades of incumbent presidents and heads of state there for a long time. Today, the legendary L'Amphitrite hotel has been taken over by a Saudi investor and remains the major seaside attraction in the region. Furthermore, Skhirat is also a fishing centre and benefits from a very good geographical location as well as a microclimate recognised for its benefits.
