Within the framework of the follow-up to the "A bike for her 2" project initiated by the French Association "Juste pour eux" and the "Decathlon" Foundation, in collaboration with the MEN delegations in Tiznit and Sidi Ifni, and in order to encourage the young girls benefiting from this operation to obtain good school results in the Baccalaureate, an Educational Campus was organised at the Aït Baâmrane qualifying high school (Sidi Ifni delegation) with the participation of the beneficiaries of this project, including 77 from different high schools in the Tiznit and Sidi Ifni delegations.
After being divided into groups, upon their arrival at the campus, the participants then joined the activities room where the official launch took place in the presence of the delegate of Sidi Ifni, the president of the Federation of Parents' Associations, the director of the host establishment, the French delegation, and the representative of the Decathlon Foundation in Morocco and in the presence of the officials of the Tiznit and Sidi Ifni delegations and the students' chaperones. On this occasion, a presentation was made to the audience, followed by two screenings on the different stages of the project since its launch in 2006. A reception was then organised in honour of all the participants. During the evening of this first day, the students participated in various artistic activities inspired by the Amazigh heritage of the region as well as a theatre competition in French, the first prize of which went to the Ibn Khaldoun high school in Tiznit; the Aït Baâmrane high schools in Sidi Ifni and the Green March in Tiznit won the second and third prizes. These activities made it possible to discover young talents who require special attention and support to assert themselves.
The second day saw the organisation of football and basketball matches and the organisation of workshops on sound recording techniques supervised by the journalist and presenter of France Television, the Franco-Moroccan of Amazigh origin, Nezha Boubékri. A presentation entitled "Arab Pride: Arabs in the World Pantheon of Intelligence" was then presented by Mr. Laurent Jourdan, lawyer and university professor at the Sorbonne.
During the closing ceremony, prizes including digital cameras as well as camcorders were awarded by the "Juste pour eux" Association to the winners and sports gifts were given to the participants by the "Decathlon Foundation" with the aim of encouraging them to move forward.
It should be noted that at the end of this cultural event, the French delegation was received by the director of the Regional Academy of Souss-Massa-Draâ in the presence of the delegate of Tiznit. During this interview, the two parties proceeded to evaluate this operation and to plan the closing party of the operation at the end of the 2011/2012 school year.
